The MicroTREK Microwave Radar guided level transmitter is designed for level measurement of conductive or non-conductive liquids, even pastes and solids. MicroTREK works based on the familiar TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) principle. Micropulses are sent at the speed of light through a probe guide. When the impact reaches the media surface, it is reflected back to the electronic module.
With a measuring range of up to 24 m (80 feet), a measurement accuracy of ± 5 mm (0.2 inch), the measurement is independent of dielectric constant, temperature, pressure and density changes. Rod, cable and coaxial probes and a segmented rod probe version are available. It has a 4-20 mA + HART output and a maximum operating pressure of 40 bar and has IP67 protection. Ambient temperature range: –30°C … +200°C (–22°F … +392°F)
